This depends on how the user’s Brain in Hand licence is being funded.
Some users will begin receiving emails about booking a coaching session as soon as we’ve reviewed their referral.
Other users (such as those funded through the Disabled Students’ Allowance) will only be contacted about coaching sessions once they’ve completed the full registration process.
In all cases, we’ll only contact users about coaching sessions once we’ve activated the user’s licence and issued the software.
What to expect from the emails
The user will receive a welcome email from Brain in Hand containing information about what to expect from the first coaching session, along with a link to the booking system.
In the booking system the user will be able to see all the available slots across all our coaches. They choose a time and date that suits them and we’ll confirm that with the coach.
After the first coaching session, the coach will communicate directly with the user about booking future sessions.
