You can view and change your details from the website.
You cannot do this from your mobile app.
How to get to ‘View or change your details’
- Go to the website, log in, then select the profile circle in the top right corner.
- Select 'Manage Account'.
- You’ll now see your profile.
Making changes from the ‘Profile’ section
For most items you can just select the box and enter or change the content. When you change your details on this screen, we save them automatically so there's no ‘Save’ button.
This screen will also show when you last used Brain in Hand and whether there have been any failed login attempts.
What can I change?
You can change or add:
- your name
- your preferred method for Brain in Hand responders to contact you if you press red or amber three times on your traffic lights
- any information that will help the Brain in Hand responders to support you
- information about your emergency contact
- information about your supporter
- where you’re using Brain in Hand, and the name of your school, university or place of work if that's where you're using it
- your home address
- an alternative address such as university accommodation (we'll only use this to manage your account, not to contact you)
If you'd like to change your mobile number, email address or password you’ll need to contact us.
