If you want to add your Apple Calendar to your Brain in Hand account, this guide will walk you through the steps. By adding your calendar, you can keep your Brain in Hand diary updated with your schedule, allowing you to manage your day effectively.

Step 1: Get an app-specific password from Apple

  1. Visit appleid.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID credentials.
  2. You may be prompted to complete two-factor authentication.
  3. Once signed in, go to the App-Specific Passwords section on the right-hand side.
  4. Click Generate an app-specific password.
  5. Type in a name like "Brain in Hand" to label the password for easy reference.
  6. Enter your Apple ID password to generate the app-specific password.
  7. Copy this password to your clipboard or leave it visible so you can use it in a moment.

Step 2: Add your Apple Calendar from the Brain in Hand app

  1. Open the Brain in Hand app on your device.
  2. Navigate to the settings area and select Add Calendar.
  3. Choose Add Apple Calendar. This will take you to a page where you can enter the password you created in Step 1.
  4. Enter your Apple ID email and the app-specific password you just generated.
  5. Click Connect to link your Apple Calendar to your Brain in Hand account.

Once connected, your Apple Calendar events should be reflected in your Brain in Hand diary, helping you manage your time and add personal support and reminders to your events.

You can revoke Brain in Hand's access to your Apple Calendar at any time through the Apple ID website. If you change your Apple ID password, you'll need to go through this process again to reconnect your calendar.
