In the Brain in Hand mobile app, you'll find the traffic lights at the bottom of every page. They’re designed to help you keep track of your mood, making it easier to reflect on how you felt during similar situations in the past.
Sometimes, it’s hard to put your feelings into words, but the traffic lights offer a simple way to log how you’re feeling:
- Green: Use this when you're feeling okay or better than okay.
- Amber: Select this if things could be better.
- Red: Choose this when you're feeling anxious or overwhelmed.
When you select a traffic light colour, you can add tags like ‘anxious’ or ‘happy’, along with your own notes to capture more detail about your mood.
You can also link the traffic lights to the on-demand support service. For example, you can choose to have someone contact you if you press red, or if you press amber three times in a row.
You can view your traffic light presses in your timeline, helping you identify patterns and learn what affects your mood over time.
How can the timeline help me track my progress?
