What is a supporter, and how do I add or update one?

Modified on Wed, 19 Mar at 11:23 AM

A supporter is someone you choose to help you with Brain in Hand, but they are not the same as your Brain in Hand coach. Your coach is provided by Brain in Hand, while a supporter is someone you can personally nominate - someone unaffiliated with Brain in Hand, such as a friend, family member, mentor, job coach or tutor. Having a supporter is optional, but they can help you make the most of Brain in Hand by offering encouragement and guidance.

Adding a supporter during registration:
During registration, you will be asked if you want to add a personal or professional supporter.

Updating or removing a supporter after registration:
If you have already completed registration, you can update your supporter details or choose not to have a supporter in the Brain in Hand web app. To do this:

  • Tap the Account icon (top right) then select Manage Account
  • In the Account Details tab, update the details in the Professional Support or Personal Support section

By providing your supporter's contact details, you agree that we may occasionally contact them about Brain in Hand. We will never discuss the content of your Brain in Hand account without your permission.

If you add a new supporter, please let them know that you have nominated them. We will also contact them to confirm their role.
